Real-world examples bring to life the true value of the Open Standards for conservation planning, management, and monitoring. Here we share case studies of teams applying the Open Standards and how it has made a difference for their conservation work.  We also share examples of organizations that have adopted or internalized the Open Standards and how they have adapted them for their own use. Projects (not reviewed) from around the world are featured in an interactive map.

Open Standards Examples will be vetted by a Review Committee, composed of CMP and CCNet representatives. As we have examples spanning a decade, we currently have a backlog of materials for formal vetting. We appreciate your patience as we work through this process.

If you would like to submit examples for consideration, please go to the Case Studies or Organizations pages and use the “Submit” button.
